However, the global pandemic played a role in its postponement. When Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 7, it was scheduled to have a release date sometime in 2021. Gran Turismo 7 Release Date and Launch Time The currently available footage has made the fans all hyped up about the upcoming title. There will be multiple game modes and each of them will give players access to a vast range of motors. It will allow the players to live the life of a self-made professional racer passing through beachy Holllywoodesque streets, forests, and other visually stunning landscapes. Running since 1997, the series has had some of the most iconic PlayStation exclusive racing games of all time. The last game was Gran Turismo Sport, released in 2017. I’m not sticking around for my point to be proven again though.Gran Turismo 7 is the eighth title in Polyphony Digital’s widely popular racing sim series. We’ve all heard about Sony arrogance before and I think it’s real, just like Microsoft arrogance is real the second they have something go right for them. Gran Turismo 7 didn’t but I have no confidence that Sony won’t see it as worth the risk to try again with the next suitable game. So publishers just put in similar options to every game they can and throw them at the wall and see which ones stick. They all want the FIFA and the Fortnite money, where people spend money on meaningless digital items that take no effort to create.

That means no more mistakes that are obvious a mile off to everyone else that’s ever played a game but which you, somehow, convince yourself is a good idea.

The PlayStation 5 is currently ahead in sales, but I think Sony knows that their long-term prospects are far less certain and that they need to up their game if they’re to continue to compete with Microsoft. Microsoft needed a knock last gen and now Sony needs one this gen, I feel, or they’re just going to get worse and worse.
